1. Information We Collect and Process

To provide a secure learning environment, we collect minimal data required for functionality:

Account Credentials: Name, email address, and profile data provided during registration.

Audio and Voice call Streams: Real-time audio data is processed only when you explicitly trigger a voice feature or person to person call. Audio streams are encrypted on the fly.

AI Text Inputs: Text prompts submitted for grammar and conversational analysis are processed securely via AI feature to return educational feedback.

Device Identifiers: We collect IP addresses, operating system versions, and unique hardware tokens solely to manage secure connections and prevent banned abusers from re-registering on the platform.

2. How We Share and Protect Your Data

Peer Anonymity: During random learning connections, your private data (email, full location, etc.) is NEVER shared. Only your custom Display Name and profile picture are visible.

No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal details, text inputs, or voice logs to third-party advertising companies.

Data Security: All communications between the App and our backend infrastructure are secured using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption.

3. Clear Disclosure of App Permissions

In compliance with Google Play transparency rules, Rguru requests the following explicit permissions:

Microphone Access (`RECORD_AUDIO`): Required exclusively to facilitate voice lessons with the AI and live audio voice call calls with peer learning partners.

Network/Internet Access (`INTERNET`): Required to fetch dictionary data, process AI responses, and manage global voice calling matching tokens.

4. User Rights and Data Deletion

You retain full control over your data. If you wish to delete your Rguru account and purge all associated registration logs from our database, you can initiate this request directly in the App settings or by emailing our support team.
